wise alternatives

I hate not being able to accessorize properly when all bundled up. Despite the number of layers to keep you warm, the frigid touch of cold metal will continually shock your central nervous system. Therefore, this morning I opted for ribbon instead of chain in this mixed medium piece.

On this necklace,I used black ribbon as the source for it's primary length. Attached at the bottom of the ribbon is a mixed link chain supporting a perched owl, making this a wise alternative.
